This year, it seems that the websites disagree on that.

ESPN and Scout have Leonard Fournette as Number 1.
247 and Rivals have Da'Shawn Hand as Number 1.

Anyway, I'm curious to see who y'all think the #1 player in the nation this year is. Of course I (and a large majority of the LSU fan base) am going to pick Leonard Fournette. Which player stands out the most to you?

No, Scout seems like it gets worse and worse with their rankings.

Scout has Fournette #1 as well, Allen is the #1 QB but #21 overall, so you probably looked at their rankings when it sorts them by position.

He's not even the #1 QB. Watson and Cornwell are both better than Allen.

That running back from LA. is the best, by far, that kids video is wicked.

He has 2, 5 min. long videos on youtube, and he doesnt get tackled once. Or knocked out of bounds. I guess what im trying to say is, he's the best this year.

IMO, Nkemdiche, Jones, and Lawson from last year's class are all better. I'm honestly not overwhelmed by Hand personally. Fournette is #1

Nkem probably is better, but there's a reason he's rated #1 by the 2 best services.

Normally I don't side with Scout or ESPN, but I haven't seen anything from Hand that impresses me like Fournette does.

I think there is a good chance it is Carter by the time NSD gets here.

I would be more exited if Bama got LF than Hand (although, I doubt we get either).

Carter is all athleticism and potential. Not enough immediate impact skill to be #1 IMO

I think D'haquille Williams, honestly, is the number one prospect entering college football with the 2014 class.

Non juco, is Fournette. I think they hyped up hand just because it's easy to put the number 1 DL as the number one overall player, less DL guys bust than skill players. At least IMO

Hand doesn't scare me like Clowney and Nkemdiche did out of HS
