He supposedly posted this on VIP on the Texas board I guess so I don't have a link or screen shot

In the SEC, you're a glorified run support guy. In the Big 12, you're a cover guy."

Actually, in the Big 12, you're neither able to cover or tackle if the previous season was any indication.

Pwns Vanna buy a vowel. Big 12 is a sad second to the SEC period, esp in toughness of defenses.

Big 12 coaches cant coach defense so why would players want to play there?

A) Why is that guys neck trying to eat his chin?
B) Why does he wear his hair like 2001 Justin Timberlake?

It's a valid point, but DBs from SEC teams get drafted pretty frequently... regardless of how advanced the offenses they're playing against happen to be.
The SEC has produced some pretty good QBs and passing attacks in recent memory as well... and 1st WR taken in this year's draft may be corderell patterson. Manziel is no joke, either.

is it? They're covering Julio Jones and breaking on Matthew Stafford's sideline outs. They're covering the best WRs in practice every day and getting easily the best defensive coaching.

Maybe DBs actually want a pass rush so they aren't left out on an island while the QB has all day to wait for the WR to get open?

being involved in 70-63 games isn't good for a DB's draft stock?
