USA TODAY Sports is posting the portions of an exclusive interview conducted with the following NCAA staff members: Derrick Crawford, director of enforcement; Chance Miller, assistant director of enforcement; Joyce Thompson, associate director of enforcement; and Marcus Wilson, associate director of enforcement

CRAWFORD: "The thing that attracted me to come back to the staff more than anything was, there's some good people here. I knew that before, and that's been reaffirmed in the 2 ½ months I've been back. People have been collegial, friendly, warm, they care deeply about the work they do, their reputations. They have strong work ethics. The longer I've worked, the more I've come to realize if you work with good people you can have a lot of fun at work. It's a great environment. No matter how good a job it is, if you don't work with good people it's not sustainable and there are really wonderful people here. The other part, when I first came to the staff years ago as a University of Alabama graduate – and we certainly had our issues in infractions cases – I had this perception that enforcement was out to get us. They had people they wanted to go after. When I came to the staff I never heard at any time, 'We've got to get this school. We've got to get that school.' We just had problems because we weren't doing the right thing. So people are just very dispassionate. You process the cases as the evidence comes in, and I was happily surprised as someone not familiar with the issues we had (at Alabama) I thought people had biases and agendas, and that just wasn't the case."

And SEC fans wonder why the bama player was not suspended for that cheap shot on the Ga. QB. And I guess it is a great atmosphere to work in with so many former bama alums sharing the office. Not whining, just being a bit facetious.

100 bucks that the Cam case WILL be reopened before the statute of limitations comes up.

I doubt that but in reality there is no statute of limitations within the NCAA because in the past ignored their own rule.
