And SEC fans wonder why the bama player was not suspended for that cheap shot on the Ga. QB. And I guess it is a great atmosphere to work in with so many former bama alums sharing the office. Not whining, just being a bit facetious.

1. The SEC decided not to suspend a Bama player because the NCAA enforcement is headed by someone with Bama ties? Interesting logic.
2. Make no mistake - you're not being facetious. You're whining.

That will not happen, but they will in investigate something minor and make it a major case. Textgate, hookers for players, cash handouts, cars, houses and jobs for parents. Fire up ATPB.

Despite all the whining about Alabama getting away with this or that, they unlike Auburn actually get punished when an NCAA issue arises. "Textbook-gate" was a frickin joke of a "violation". Nebraska had identical violations that resulted in no penalties. Auburn actually had players openly admitting to taking illegal benefits on HBO and nothing happened. Alabama has also been on multiple probations the last 20 years so someone in the NCAA hasn't gotten the memo about all this so called preferential treatment we're supposed to be receiving.

you got punished b/c you were still under probation for prior offenses... and the HBO thing could've been harmful, if the players who spoke would've actually allowed themselves to be interviewed by the NCAA... they all declined (imagine that, considering their claims were bullsh*t to begin with).

The past is the past... let it go, man.

I've let it go. I'm just debating the totally absurd notion that the NCAA actively overlooks blatant cheating at Alabama. The last 20 years show the exact opposite is true.
