Opinion on 2000 UF vs Tenn

So this is an offseason thread and came up yesterday during our hot piss match with Florida fans after the basketball game and got me to thinking about it.
If you aren't familiar with the game there was 20 seconds left Jesse Palmer throws to Jabbar Gaffney who is about 2 yards deep in the end zone. What follows is a call that has haunted me to this day: Even though from my biased standpoint it looks like Gaffney clearly dropped the pass the referees calls it a game winning TD (this is before review mind you).
So my question is what is the board's opinion of the play? Complete? Incomplete?

Pretty clearly a TD IMO.

Was kind of looking for some other fanbase's thoughts 
i am flabbergasted they called it a TD personally. I thought maybe i was just younger and to biased (kind of like how i swore Kevin Dyson made it to the end zone in the Titans/Rams SB) but after watching it last night i still can't believe it

Why don't you show the Dallas Baker penalty while you're at it and not be such a homer?

I saw the game. Being a FL fan I rejoiced with the win. In truth I would say no catch, incomplete. Just my .02 cents

Baker clearly committed a penalty and so did Johnathan Wade. It just so happens that Baker was called for it. You should never retaliate and it cost him.

thanks for being honest. I am by no means saying my opinion is correct that's why i brought it here to get some unbiased people to answer

That is kind of what I was getting at. Hard to have your cake and eat it too. Those "catches" are pretty much identical.

i disagree, i think Washington's catch was probably a much worse call. No one denied or didnt see that the ball hit the ground with Gaffney the refs just said he had possession first (not a chance in hell ). But i will say ours mattered more bc it was the game winning TD with no time left. Yall had a whole game to make up for that awful call and did just that by beating us

No catch today with replay. Wouldn't have mattered anyway UF still had one more shot to win and then a FG to tie at worst.
