No Frank Wilson (LSU RB), or Larry Porter (RB Texas), any SEC recruiting coordinator should be on there.

Alabama’s Mike Groh was named the Recruiter of the Year by 247Sports.

The 41-year-old, who is the wide receivers coach with the Crimson Tide, was one of the main factors in the program nailing down the top recruiting class this season. Alabama had 26 commitments including six five-star commitments and 12 four-star players as well.

It was Groh who helped the program land the No. 1 receiver in Robert Foster as well as lineman A’Shawn Robinson and defensive tackle Dee Liner.

They really used Liner as one of the examples of one of the kids he pulled in?

Not saying the guy didn't do a good job, but come on.

I think they would have given it to Pruitt had he stayed.

lulz if Chavis is our best recruiter, we've got some big problems. What an asinine list. And I'm sure it was Chris Kiffin that got Nkemdiche to Ole Miss

Georgia's tight end coach?!?!?!?

Lynch, Rome, Pope, Charles... ok... but he didn't really recruit Charles, Bobo and Murray did.

How about RB coach Bryan McClendon!

Todd Gurley from out of state...
Keith Marshall from out of state..
Knowshon Moreno from out of state..
Isaiah Crowell from Auburn's back yard...

It's weird they pick UGA's tight end coach as UGA's best recruiter.. over Bryan McClendon.

You know what's also weird?

They picked Auburn's Rodney Garner, who has only been there a month.

While at UGA, he was our overall recruiting coordinator, and also DL coach.

All of the trolling and shite talking about how UGA can't recruit it's own state, blah blah blah, defensive lines that give up ridiculous amounts of run yards...

All Rodney Garner. Now he's listed as one of the top 50?

2013 class. Was Gurley, Marshall, Moreno and Crowell this year's UGA recruiting class?
