When did A&M quit caring about basketball and Bama quit caring about baseball?

Obviously Football is king.
I've always cared about baseball and basketball.
Maybe that's just me?

It's evolution in progress, the average Bama brain has yet to develop the ability to be cognizant of more than one thing. Occasionally one of them develops the ability to also recognize a lesbian based activity.

The Alabama and MS schools aren't going to do anything in baseball until the NCAA does something about the lottery scholarship situation. Lottery scholarships don't count against the 11.7 (like they would in football and basketball) so schools like LSU, Florida, UGA, etc have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more scholarship baseball players. Until the NCAA changes the rules or our states can pass an education lottery, we're not going to do anything significant in baseball (despite maybe catch lightning in a bottle once a decade).

Yeah they did. That LSU College World Series just crushed their hopes though so they switched to Women's softball.

Yes, however it died the day LSU beat them in the original SEC head to head championship game......in Omaha. They never recovered and essentially dropped the sport.

No doubt it looks like that was the pivotal point in time. LSU demoralized them in that head to head national championship matchup and their fans just threw in the towel. No mas.

Well, since they've won more games than any other team in the SEC and is second to only LSU in SEC titles, I'd say somewhere along the way people have cared.
