What is your favorite Mizzou sport between football and basketball?

Myself personally I'd have to say basketball. No not just because we're good at that and suck at FB right now. I have good memories of being a little boy and my dad instilling me with the true-son values by watching Mizzou basketball (the Quin Snyder era :yack), taking me to see them practice when they were in KC, etc. He's always been partial to basketball and it kind of rubbed off on me. Plus the fact that I actually played basketball and not football, and having the Chiefs to watch for football but no pro team for basketball. I love the sport of basketball. It's a close call, but I'm more of a Tiger basketball kinda guy.

Mizzou football, basketball, and baseball are all tied for my #1 spot.

I just can't get myself into baseball. I love to play it, but don't like watching it much. The little bit that I can watch is devoted to the Royals. Wish Mizzou baseball could get more support though..

Basketball is my favorite. Action is easier to follow and whole affair is more intimate. By that I mean, it seems like player personalities come out more. In football, it is harder to see the details of big picture, getting to see how each player contributes.

frick basketball. It's good to be good, but I'd much rather be good in football.

Basketball school can suck a fat one.

It's not frick basketball persay, but I'd much rather a great football team and a marginal basketball team.

Hit me up, we'll get an off strip beer or two. I'll have you over at my local $2/beer spot.

ETA: Saturday is better. Sundays I'm always stuck. Let me know if you'd like to, I'll figure out a PM and PM you my number.

Well, if you're ever in Vegas give me a few weeks to prepare.

Shitty thing about living here is that everyone comes prepared for an amazing coked out drunk arse fricking time and you're just ready to have a few beers.

Drains you after a while.

That wouldn't be me. I've done my fair share of partying in Vegas. I'm past the typical shite.

I'd like to rent a convertible and drive to Hoover Dam Thelma and Louise style with a j hangin out of my mouth while listening to Fleetwood Mac's greatest hits.

I know the deal dude.

Not psyched about Vegas, it's a family trip.

Just as long as we can get coked out.

Sorry to break up the Vegas talk, but as to the OP probably basketball overall. Growing up, starting with Stipo and company and since, basketball was always exciting and football was non-existent. Probably more excited about football for the last 10 years or so but that probably has as much to do with basketball dropping and football picking up. Call me fair weather I guess.

Emailing now. There's a few decent spots I can get you to if you can get away. I've got a nice local bar with good bartenders if you just want to chill.

frick, worst comes to worst I'll bring you over to the house and use it as an excuse to load up the kegerator.

Sounds fun, but rather than Thelma and Louise, lets do Hunter S. Thompson.

With Tool, and a box of Krispy Kremes.

Road trip to Area 51.

I'd trade 20 years of terrible basketball for 1 crystal football.

I would trade a National Championship in Basketball for just a chance at winning one in Football. Serious.

I understand some prefer CBB and thats fine. But the attention to the school/state/AD would be much higher towards even less success in FB than BB.

Attention goes much further being a Football power than a Basketball power. I enjoy Bball and watch all of the games, but if you have a chance to do something in Football you have to take it.

Maybe 3 SEC Basketball Championships for an SEC Championship in Football. I wouldnt go any more though.
