Most embarrassing bowl for the SEC this year?

There were a few to choose from, some surprises like little Louisville coming out like native Muhammad Ali and slugging the Florida Gators, South Carolina native ACC tier 2 Clemson whipping LSU in comeback fashion in the peach state, and Northwestern doing more than writing about the time they won a bowl game, they actually used the spread option run attack to grind out a win in the Gator bowl.

My choice, however, would be the BCS NCG, I have never been more embarrassed for the conference than seeing Saban having to treat the game like he has to treat a select few games in the regular season two years in a row and take his foot off the throttle to keep the game "close" on the score board.

Which one do you think embarrassed the conference the most this bowl season?

The only answer is UF. This was a 1 loss, top 5 team playing in the Sugar Bowl against an inferior louisville team. Not only was the stadium like 1/4 empty and UF didn't sell their allotment, they looked completely horrid from the opening kickoff.

1) UF
2) LSU

i don't think the gator bowl was all that embarrassing, i knew NW was better and i don't think many saw that as a lock outside the south. or really starkville.

Just the turnout for the UF game was embarrassing. I don't necessarily think the loss was embarrassing. Just seemed like they didn't really care about being in the game at all and it meant everything to Louisville. Not entirely surprised the game turned out the way it did.

They had 161 yards on the ground and 4.0 ypc. State had 186 yards on the ground and 5.6 ypc.

The only reason we lost is because Tyler Russell threw four picks.

Why don't you worry about how your own dumpster fire of a team embarrasses itself instead of how the successes/failures of other teams affect you?

Easily Florida.

State is second, but it really isn't close.

Third (and way down at third) would be LSU, but that was a good opponent. Les just pissed it away.

Florida, from their performance to their attendance, should be embarrassed. I kinda get not "showing up"--I guess--from a player standpoint. It happens. We've been there a couple of times, once against Utah and another against Louisville no less.

But getting outdrawn by the Rebs at the BBVA Compass Bowl in BIRMINGHAM at LEGIONfrickINGFIELD?

Turn in your SEC card, Gators. Awful.

Really good football programs, like Florida, don't consider just getting to a BCS Bowl to be a notable accomplishment.
