Florida Gators Sugar Bowl debacle by far...losing badly to a Big East team in front of an empty Superdome. Just can't happen!

The only answer is UF. This was a 1 loss, top 5 team playing in the Sugar Bowl against an inferior louisville team. Not only was the stadium like 1/4 empty and UF didn't sell their allotment, they looked completely horrid from the opening kickoff.

This is the only choice. The turnout was more embarassing than the score. I could maybe understand if it happened in another bowl game, but this is the fricking Sugar Bowl.

The obvious answer is Florida. Although, Les Miles should get some type of individual award.

Maybe the "John L. Smith" coaching trophy?

fricking shite. You new rebs are idiots. Go back and look at the context of my post.

It's in response to DaleDenton saying Northwestern ran all over us.

frick it. I'll break it down for you.

DaleDenton(OP):

quote:

Northwestern doing more than writing about the time they won a bowl game, they actually used the spread option run attack to grind out a win in the Gator bowl.

My Response(sharpSee):

quote:

They had 161 yards on the ground and 4.0 ypc. State had 186 yards on the ground and 5.6 ypc.

The only reason we lost is because Tyler Russell threw four picks.

See that? See how a logical argument works?

The only reason Ole Miss only one six games in the two years prior to this one was because everyone kept scoring more points than we did when we played them

No, it was because you fricking blew, and Darn Merlins got up in ya'lls head and mindfricked you.

Reference to Al making threads saying there was no way Northwestern would/could win because they were a "spread option run team"...

Again, simply making a BCS Bowl isn't seen as some grand accomplishment by big time football programs. Florida fans were disappointed after their shot at the big show evaporated.

Sugar Bowl and no debate...awful game and UL waxed our azz good....UL had pitiful defense during the year and Strong went and snuck some NFL defensive players in Cardinals unis...and bitchslapped us.

The reason we lost is because Northwestern outcoached us And beat us in all phases of the game cause State doesn't have a very good football team

I understand that idea. But the Sudar Bowl has always had the SEC tie-in. Before the BCS, the SEC champion went to the Sugar Bowl didn't they? It's not like they had to travel all the way across the country to some shithole destination. It's New Orleans man.

Uuh, check your facts. No one in Starkville thought we would win it either.
