I say Notre Dame does. The entire country outside of the SEC states is praying for a Bama loss. That will have an effect on some close calls. Saban better be ready to challenge.

But in the end it won't matter. Bama is just the better team and by a good bit.

Bama 31 Domers 13

It's a Pac 12 crew... the same conference that went out of its way to screw Stanford in their OT game with Notre Dame earlier in the year.

Not that it means that much... I'm guess we'll see less than 10 flags on the night -- combined.

The SEC was screwed every game in officiating. Some of them were just absolute jokes. I thought South Carolina and Michigan was bad until I watched TAMU and OU (they called it even after TAMU got up 3 touchdowns).

It's going to be in Notre Dame's favor big time until Bama ends the game. IMO, the NCAA needs to work on getting some NFL officials for the bigger bowl games. It was that bad.

I was just on the phone was Pops talking about this. Watch for the Domers to get some favorable calls tonight. Of coarse, Id love to see the Gumps in meltdown on here when the roles get reversed on them.

Bama will know what it is like when the rest of us play Bama in conference games.

Officials will certainly miss calls and they could benefit one team, but you people that think their is some intentional conspiracy to favor one team are a little out there for my taste.

Who is surprised that it's an LSU fan starting this thread?

Bama will need to step on ND's necks early and often and dominate like TAMU did to Okie. If they don't and let ND hang around the officials could make a difference in the outcome.

I also agree with the poster who recommends hiring NFL officials for the BCS championship game and the playoffs when those start. The conference rivalries and bad feelings are too intense to allow biased calls to creep into a game's outcome.
