Congrats on a great win! I know there are UGA fans who won't pull for Tech under any circumstance, but I'm not one of them. Frick the Pac-12, frick USC, and frick ESPN for annointing USC the heir apparent to unseat the SEC. UGA first, SEC second, and then I pull for Tech. Congrats again Tech, and Tech fans!

Congrats to the player who dropped an "S" bomb on National tv, called the female interviewer "sir" amd basically acted like he could barely speak English. High academics my arse.

If they had lost their 8th straight bowl game, there was a high likelihood that Johnson would be replaced by one of the shittier NFL coaches or assistants that got fired yesterday.
Tech would actually start building a real team out of SEC reject recruits and getting competitive, relatively quickly. It would have been easy to have an NFL guy send whispers out to some of the 2nd and 3rd stringers at UGA/Bama/Tenn/SC/Clemson/FSU/FLA, you know the guys that are 4 stars but didn't beat out the 5 other 4 stars on the roster at that position, the guys we all would say "he'd be starting at any other school", and let them know they could transfer, and be a guaranteed starter, and get to play in big time games on TV against Clemson, UGA, FSU every year, Gary Danielson calling out their name and number, and live in Hotlanta where the cops have better things to worry about than busting you for weed or underage drinking.
Instead, Paul Johnson just broke their 7 year bowl losing streak and will continue riding that team down a dark triple option path to failure. The bottom of the ACC. Hell.
