Some Huskies blogger has confirmed this as well.

Ironically this guy has been RB's coach under both JLS and BP previously.

Well Washington only had one fumble this entire season in 2011

Plus for each of the 4 years he's been at Washington they've had a 1,000 yard rusher

I don't think it's as big of a hire as say Pittman but it's still solid

looks like he isn't the strongest recruiter out there but he keeps his RB position stocked up pretty well.

Y'all be nice to Roussel, he may have been wrong about the hire but his nice comments on that video about us kept me going for a few weeks this season when all hope seemed lost.

Factor in awful PAC defenses faced and about what, 700 yard rushers?

Not too impressed with the hire but we'll see I guess.

Sankey wore about Boise's D yesterday for over 200 yds.

Washington fans give him high remarks. We'll see what happens, don't know much about him.

I'll wait til he's confirmed before I give up hope on our Ray Lewis, Deion Sanders, Marshall Faulk, Bruce Smith HOF coaching additions.

It's official

Sounds like he will be recruiting Texas. Pretty big steal imo considering the guy is from Washington.

Seems like a solid hire. I would love if our running backs averaged 1.5 fumbles per year.

So that pretty much means Horton is not coming back, which is fine with me.

I think it may actually be a little higher. The article said that in 2010 and 2011, Washington's RBs only lost three fumbles. They may have fumbled more but recovered them.

I tried looking up the actual stats (fumbles/fumbles lost, and whether they were by RBs, QBs, WRs, or whatever) but didn't have any luck. Washington lost 14 fumbles this year, and one would think that more than 1.5 of those came from running backs, but who knows.
