Do you realize we were close to having 3 teams from the state of Jawja playing for their respective National Titles. UGA and GSU were one game away and Valdosta is already playing for the DII title. Woulda been something had it happened. Oh well...

So close indeed, but two in the semis (basically) and one in the final is not to shabby.

Yeah Richt is so stubborn to admit he should of spiked the ball....because of the talk he had with homer smith . Even bobo said we should spiked the ball. Why didn't richt let murray spike the ball. We would be playing for the mnc on jan7.

Richt didn't spike the ball to catch Bama off guard and the could not sub in players. Spiking it gave Bama a vhance to regroup and put a better defense to match up with our next play.

we still could scored with them subing in players. i'm sure they had their best 11 on defense out there on that drive already

Stop ya'll bitchnIt was the right thing to do not spiking the ball.I just think the play should have gone to one of the Big TightEnds.

Whats wrong with me?? I'm devestated that we are not playing for the mnc...Why didn't ctg call a game like he did against fla. we had a few run blitzes in that game. After the fla game...we played a bend but dont break defense the rest of the season...why did he do that for??

And Bama was caught off guard how?...Really think Bama could've covered the play any better? They knew exactly the play we were going to run and had Mitchell completley covered..we caught NO ONE off guard.

Why why why... here's a why for you. Why the frick do you keep bringing it up in every fricking thread, no matter what the topic of said thread is? You came in on the thread about tissle graduating with a completely fricking random "why didn't richt spike the ball?" comment.

I'm just sayin, stop trying to drag every thread around to the same tired arse subject.
