Am I looking too much into HaHa Clinton-Dix hosting Beckwith?

HaHa Clinton-Dix hosted Kendall Beckwith on his official this past weekend. Now, I know the situations may be a BIT different, but when we have a Florida or Georgia recruit on an official.. he's hosted by a player from his home state, for obvious reasons.
Beckwith and Collins were on the recruiting circuit a lot last year, and know each other well. What's the deal, why wouldn't Collins host him?
As always, I post this knowing I'll get typical Alabama responses, but I'm holding out on the 10% that are actually good posters.

There are literally dozens of possible explanations. Bama will often have a player from the same state host an out of state recruit, but not 100% of the time. Plus, Bama has several other players from LA (Denval, Sylve, Bell, Lacy) not just Collins. Obviously, it just wasn't that much of a priority.
- Maybe LC went home for the weekend
- Maybe Lc and Beckwith had a falling out
- Maybe LC was assigned to host a more sought-after recruit
- Maybe HaHa is the top player host, so he was assigned to Beckwith

I know very little about this recruiting stuff, but one question may answer something for me.
What position does Beckwith play or would play in the college ranks?

LB or DE if LSU or Bama. QB at Oregon.

He should get Mack Brown to recruit him as a DB. Would be a sure fire Heisman winner.

Maybe LC was busy helping teach little Vicki how to use Microsoft Office so she can read her emails at her internship.

Can't wait to see everyone say this proves Collins isn't happy.
All it proves is the Alabama staff trusts haha as a recruiter. LSU had Peterson, Shepard, and Montgomery play similar roles to recruits outside their native states.

When you know the names of rival players girlfriends because of internet rumors from over a year ago when said player and girlfriend were in High School... Then you take this recruiting thing way too seriously and you're probably a total creep.

If I remember correctly, Clinton-Dix was a very outspoken recruiter in his recruiting class, so it isn't surprising that the staff is using him this way.

This is funny because UPT obviously knew enough about Landon Collins' recruitment to understand the context of Lsu Tool's post - UPT knows either LC's gf's name himself or that she was offered a job in the Bama AD. Then calls out someone for knowing this stuff (just like he does)

LC and his old lady went nuts all over twitter about his recruitment and it was documented all over this website and there is laundry list of bama fans and non bama fans that know his mom and his gf's names.

Freshmen don't host visitors, but there are several other Louisiana natives on the roster that could have hosted Beckwith. So, I don't know.

Or it could mean they are letting HaHa get some practice on a guy they dont think they are getting any way.
