On 104.5 they interviewed the college football "expert" from Vegas who publishes the Gold Sheet. He said that it was "all over Vegas" that both teams will be added to the SEC, and that it could be a double annoucement in mid Jan when specifics on the SEC tv network is released. Sounded pretty confident. Take that source & rumor FWIW, but that is what he said is being discussed. Guess that means bama gets another bridge yr to play UK & Miz yet again?

I lived in Virginia for 4 years. As an SEC fan, I'd be ecstatic if this happens.
If yall ever get a chance to go to a VA Tech game, go for it.

NC State - I'm not so sure. The Tar Heels know exactly what will happen if they allow little brother to go to the SEC while they go to the B1G. Seems a bunch of decision-makers at UNC prefer the SEC. UNC to SEC leaves Duke to the B1G and NC State to the Big12. That's the only conceivable way that they all get taken care of, IMO...Otherwise, Duke is going to be left out.

UNC ain't leaving Duke and if anyone though Missouri was a bad add, Virginia is more of the same, if not worse.

I would love to see FSU in the SEC but that is not going to happen. Slive has shown that with the addition of Mizzou and TAMU the SEC is going after new TV markets. VT and NC State seem like they will make good additions. As long as neither university does a totally ghey commercial like "One Mizzou.."
