It looked pretty bad. Of course I'm not sure what a good hog-calling looks like.

I don't blame you, she's cute

I concur. I'm not sure why anyone gets their rocks off watching a coach do it. I hate the tiger bait chant for example, or at least think that it's overdone by a lot of idiots. If we had each new coach do it I would be thoroughly humiliated.

Im sure that is the only time he will do that though.

Most hog fans feel ridiculous do it as well. But we do it for tradition, as the Hog call has been going on for over like 70 years, back when most of SEC country lived on farms/rural areas.

Simply put, we do it for tradition. Bama has the houndstooth, Auburn Tigers have a frickin eagle, LSU has they gay guys kissing in the bleachers..... We all have us something that make us different

Why do Arkies call feral animals? Do they come when called? Seems pretty unavailing and fatuous.

It's what we do for intro press conferences. It might be what ran Altman off and that worked out best for everyone involved.

All of America going WTF when Petrino did it live on ESPN was hilarious for Hog fans.

That doesn't mean you have to force every new coach to make an arse of himself on national television

This place is going downhill fast. I know I don't help matters any, but we have to step our games up.

I'm trying to imagine Nick Saban doing a hog call

or a Gator Chomp
or even chanting Rammer Jammer...

Nope, can't even fricking picture it.

Yall really shouldn't make the coaches do that.

Bingo.

It gets much easier to do if we're winning in late in the game and the flask is about empty.

When I was doing it for the first time when I was younger I felt really silly doing it too. It comes in time to be comfortable with it......

Bottms up out......

What ran Alman off was our APR situation, our player's academic standing for the semester, and Frank not allowing him to bring his academic support staff with him from Creighton.

Miles sings the alma mater with the student section and the team after games....that's pretty much it. I can't remember if Nick did that or not.....but then again, Miles is awesome.
