Tide but after perusing the board the consensus is Bama will win big. The rant is the ultimate contrarian indicator.

it's set up perfectly for georgia to win. bama is a top 5 team, but not nearly as invincible as everyone thought 3 weeks ago. their running game is good, but not what it has been.
I haven't seen it take over a football game.

georgia is playing better football than they have been. if their defense plays like they did against florida, i look for georgia to win.

i don't see a blow-out either way.

UGA has a very good chance to win this game. It has the offense to beat UA, specifically UA's defense isn't that great this year, not bad by any stretch but not great. UGA has a strong running game and good passing game as well.

Also UA's offense is not that good against strong defenses that can get pressure on AJ, though not many can get pressure on him. UA's OL is one of the best.

The big question mark in this is game planning, I've questioned Richt's game planning ability in the past, he just seems to whiff in big games at times badly with poor prep. Saban on the otherhand is probably the best gam planner in the business. Richt is a better game day coach than Saban but not by a large amount.

The question for me is who wants this one more, can Richt fire up the team for an MNC run, his first. I could see UGA coming out flat and I could see them coming out on fire.

The first 3-4 drives of the game will tell the tale to me.

It's a pick em as far as I can tell. Ga will play with supreme intensity and Bama will play not to lose. Might be uga's year, hope I'm wrong but it'll be a damn good game regardless.

Are you seriously using how a defense looks against Florida as a measuring stick to success in this game? Freaking Bowling Green and some directional school in LA looked good defensively against Florida. Georgia might win because they are a very talented football team, but it will have nothing to do with how they played against Florida.

The win over Florida can't really be used as a measuring stick-Florida has no offense. However, strange things happen in foosball.

hey man, i have consistently picked the dawgs in this game. i think y'all take it too 'em. however, i must add, reluctantly, that every time i go all in on a richt led team in a big game i lose. there is always a first time ya know.

I don't think he's saying that. I think he's saying that if UGA causes 6 turnovers against Bama, they are going to win.

Personally I'm just excited for the game. I think it will be yet another awesome SEC battle in a year that has produced a dozen good ones.

GAg didn't "cause" 6 turn overs.
Just sayin.

Control a rather anemic offense? Yeah, Bama's offense is nothing like UF's. They have a great OL (Florida's is atrocious) and they have playmakers at WR (UF has 1 playmaker on the outside, Reed who's a TE). The offenses are nothing a like. UGA's offense is in trouble. UF turned it over SIX TIMES and still had an opportunity to tie the game on our final drive. Let that register for a second.

I think Georgia has a very good chance to beat the Tide. Alabama has lost their "invincibility" status weeks ago. The blueprint to beat them has been shown to the world.

that's why I'm nervous for our guys' mental preparedness for realizing what they need to do to play their best game in ATL

JFF isn't walking out of that tunnel in a UGA uniform. He made plays all game that kept ATM ahead.

I don't get that sense from Bama fans. I think we all know we have some glaring deficits now and that we are very beatable. Most fans I know are nervous as hell about playing Georgia. LSU definitely gave you guys a blue-print about how to beat us and A&M added to the design. Unfortunately, I see this is going to be a really close and exciting game.

Bama not really playing great football right now. I think Georgia wins, they can expose the defensive backs of the Tide.

I also hope the Dawgs play my Tigers.

War Eagle, for this week only.
