I saw Bama's "Dreams About To Die In Death Valley Last Night".

That being said this close one will cause much topic of discussion and bickering until next year.

No.

The best team found a way to win.

No. It was a hard-fought, 60 minute game between what I consider to be the two best teams in college football. LSU had the home field, the revenge factor, and two weeks to rest and prepare. Bama took their best shot, in their house, and prevailed. I do not think luck had anything to do with it.

But LSU didn't win.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. If you're going to win a championship, you always have one of these games.

Lucky....no

More fortunate and advantageous than lucky.

This, luck or not you always have to have luck. That really was one of the best games I've seen in a while.

Truth right here. shite, look at LSU in '07. Auburn had so many close calls in '10. Alabama had to get the rematch last year.

Sometimes the break goes your way. Other times it doesn't. Being superior to other teams is about 90% of winning a championship. The other 10% is a mixture of luck and, as Les would say, want.

What you saw last night was not luck. It was a clutch performance by a championship team.

It wasn't really luck (any more than any close win is lucky) but you definitely escaped by the skin of your arse and should consider yourselves fortunate.

We were lucky a little, but the win would not have happened without some help from LSU's coaches.

I would say "relieved" is the better word to describe how Bama fans feel today.

You got out played and out worked in that game. Don't act like luck had nothing to do with it.

The only bad luck play I truly saw last night was on the onside kick. LSU recovers the ball if it doesn't take a backward bounce at 9 1/2 yards. That is part of the game. I saw two very good, well coached teams playing one hell of a football game in front of a great crowd. You have to respect Bama for standing up to LSU. LSU also stood up to Bama. Remember at the half when Bama was getting the ball while up 14-3. Who would have thought it would take a last minute drive to win for Bama?

Not luck, good, that was a damn good game. Sad to see my tigers drop any game after playing that well, but just like last year reg season, you don't add up all the stats, you add up points.

We had to block two FG against UT and still won a NC. Games are what they are and rarely does a team dominate every game especially when you are dealing with 19 year old kids.

I'd say a little luck landed on both sides of the ball last night, those who disagree are full of shite.
