The Fisher/Whomever the Rams GM is for AD rumor makes more sense than Bob Stoops if that's what JGT was going for.

While I don't think we can just walk into Norman, OK and come out with Bob Stoops, I do think that we should be able to get a proven winner and not have to roll the dice on an unproven talent. I think we should be able to get Gary Patterson out of TCU, frankly.
Getting an NFL coach worries me. Does he recruit well? Will he enjoy the lifestyle change? Too many unknowns there.

Kentucky is probably already on the phone with Petrino as I type. Auburn will be ready to hire the next up and comer who will average 7-8 wins a season for the next 7 years until he has a terrible year and gets fired. Rinse and repeat.
