Have we talked about A&M's stolen TD yet?

Not really a big deal given that A&M won convincingly, but this is for anyone who saw JFF's "fumble" into the endzone in the third quarter. Maybe I'm blind, but on review it is blatantly obvious it should have been a TD. Absolutely unreal that they ruled it a fumble. Would've put the game away at the time, but instead gave MSU new life (that thankfully they didn't take advantage of).

Just want to make sure I'm not insane.

It was a BS call but those refs were all around shitty. They gave us a VERY generous spot on that 3rd down before it.

Yeah but they gave y'all the 1st on the 4th down play, so it was a wash IMO

Make up call. Everyone in the stadium knew it, too

No problem with the ref calling it a fumble. BUT, the replay crew sucks. Clearly a TD.

Think that is called a fumble if if it was McCarron?? Yes, think again.

Terrible. Could have been the same idiotic crew from SEC that worked the La Tech game.

Difference is this was f'ing reviewed for several minutes, and the generous spot before should have no bearing on the TD/fumble call.

In what f'ing world is the instant replay official living in to where that is NOT a touchdown? Hell, ESPN was showing a still shot for about 10 straight seconds...ask 100 people if he scored or not, and 100 would have told you he had. Why have replay if you're still going to frick up like that? /end rant.

The point is you never should have been there. Should have been MSU ball on the 20. Dont be such a crybaby homer.

Sure, but I would like to think makeup calls go out the window when it's just some schmuck up in the booth looking at video that clearly shows what the call could be. Guess I'm just naive.

I would have to agree with the blown call on that play. The stop motion pic showed the ball over the plane and still in JFF's hand.

Yeah, like I said no big deal in hindsight and I don't want to appear like a titty baby. My beef is that it wasn't even borderline, it's blatantly obvious, and a still shot is right there in front of your eyes...make the correct fricking call-and A&M getting a generous spot a few plays earlier shouldn't even enter the replay guy's mind.

I don't believe in make up calls when you have replay on just about everything in college football...that said, it was one of the worst replay calls that I've ever seen. When I saw the replay I said to myself, oh that's a no brainer...it's a TD.

Too much weight is being put on "the call on the field". This is why we have replay. Refs make bad calls...those bad calls shouldn't impact what the correct call should be.

basically how I look at it.

that was a TD though.

I have no idea how they could say it was still a fumble after a review.
