Was the WLOCP's defensive effort a fluke?

Will we be able to ride this game into the SECCG? I sure hope so. Just wanted everyone's opinion on what they think these next few games will be like. I know we're capable of continuing this because we pretty much played like that almost every game last year. I would hate for this game to be a one hit wonder for our D. It was just way too fun to see them dominate like that Saturday.
Murray still needs to improve though. We could have won that game by 17+ if he wasn't playing like a 6 yr old girl.

doubt you'll see the same intensity from the coaches..Ogletree can play this way as well..

It's no question he needs to improve against top-notch defenses. But I'm not going to overlook the fact that he's 2-1 vs UF.

The defensive effort against UF was no fluke. We had some nasty fricking hits and just dominated from start to finish. UF beat USCe and LSU mind you and beat both (they both have better defenses). I think our guys really just skull fricked em. Will they keep it up? I hope...no way it could hurt the future. Im hoping they gained a bit of confidence.

They played pissed off and it showed. That ate best I've seen our two safeties play...ever. Really was fun football to watch. Defensively at least

Don't see why not...Even if the "D" regresses again, Murray will be back playin' mediocre defenses so he'll shine. OM, Aub, GSU & GT is not a very daunting remaining schedule. I would like to think the D found themselves. I could see us rolling the last 4 by about 20 a game...
I wouldn't be completely shocked if we shite our mess kit in one of these tho...

It's hard to say; they have been very inconsistent so far this season. The only complete game we have had was against Vandy. My guess though is they gained a lot of confidence and pride in coming together as a defensive unity Saturday. Hopefully this carries over into the rest of our schedule including the SECCG if we finish strong.
