Probably already been mentioned but can anyone narrow down the reasons why LSU ATM got an 11am start time? That looks to be a good game between ranked teams.
Y'all should have gotten the 6pm start time over the Bama Tenn game.

Because ESPN said so.
It had nothing to do with TAMU or Tenn but everything to do with Bama over LSU.

The BOMC is crap. Its a cop out excuse for everything wrong with our athletics. Timeslots, orange water coolers, lack of exposure, lack of high preseason ratings, everything. if it goes against the Ags we blame it on the BOMC. Texas isn't that damn powerful people.

It is undeniable that they are a business partner with ESPN and it is in ESPNs best interest to protect that partnership as much as possible.

Hell, even the guys on local sports talk radio here in Knoxville just said about a half hour ago that we got screwed and it was probably to protect Texas ratings. I'm not much of a conspiracy guy, but damn.

I blame it all on the Aggies. Any other top 25 SEC opponent and we would be playing at night. frick off Aggies for making us drink at 7 am.

It's all ESPN trying to protect its wholly-owned and controlled subsidiary, the Texas Longhorns. Nobody, anywhere gives a rat-frick about Texas/Baylor.

I dont think its much of a conspiracy to say that ESPN wanted to maximize viewership by putting our game and their game at different timeslots.
