Since we've had a lot of threads started since Saturday, and a lot of them have been asking questions about what people think about certain coaches, I figured we could condense all of that talk into this thread.
This is the place where if you have an idea for a head coach, offensive coordinator, S&C coach, whatever, feel free to post it in here. I'll keep the OP updated with names that get suggested more than once. Also, debate what category each coach falls in.
Realistic Head Coach Possibilities
Dave Doeren, Current HC, University of Northern Illinois, 15–4 Record
Jim Mora, Current HC, UCLA. 4-2
Mark Hudspeth, Current HC ULL, 13–5
Willie Taggert, Current HC Western Kentucky, 13-16
Charlie Strong, Current HC, Louisville, 20-12

Still not sold on this. If we can manage to squeak out 5 wins, then yeah, probably so. But if we completely tank, go 0-8 in the SEC, and get our doors blown off by Bama again, the amount of criticism and roars will be too hard to ignore.
It's going to be interesting to see what happens. If we don't find a way to pull out a win in Oxford on Sat., I think this thing really goes in a tailspin quick. We may already be at that point.

I like how Fedora had USM playing before he left, doesn't seem to be doing too bad at UNC all things considered, and there might be more sanctions headed for Chapel Hil, right? Though it's only his first year there...
And honestly I think I'd rather have Gruden than Carroll. I mean, he won a Super Bowl in Tampa, and it sounds like he plans on coaching again. He's got some SEC ties, and though he's 99.9% an NFL guy, I'd like to see what he could do.

As much as I would love to have either one of those guys.. it will ever happen IMO. Hope I'm wrong but how could we get them?
