Made a trip down to Jortsville this weekend.

Let me personally thank all Florida posters on behalf of the amazing hospitality I received this weekend. I walked around in purple and gold, was called a corn dog and promptly welcomed to bull shite and hangout in just about every tent that I had the pleasure of visiting.

A Florida fan who had seasons tickets that I met across from the bookstore gave me his ticket and told me that I needed to experience the Swamp at least once when I just mentioned in passing that I was just there for the atmosphere and didn't actually have tickers.

Sir, if you post here, you made my entire weekend and even though my Tigers lost, the people who sit around you made my visit a pleasurable hell.

I will never forget my first trip to Gainesville, and I will return this generosity for as long as I'm able to be in Baton Rouge.

I had a good time talking to gators as well as tailgating in one gator tent and had a beer with them. Our group even spoke with gator legend mr 2 bits for 20 minutes...

You fell for the old anthrax on the tickets trick those pesky gators.

Awesome! I have to make the trip up to LSU next year. Everyone says the two stadiums are alike in that it's loud as hell in there. I know BHG was rocking on Saturday.

@gatorrocks

My ears were ringing after the Gillislee touchdown. The Swamp was very impressive.

Never before have I enjoyed a fan base's love for the game quite like this past weekend. I felt like a guest in a home that the opposing fans had missed.

A loss is a loss but it sure feels better when the win goes to a fan base that would appreciate the win as much as I know Tiger nation would.

Happy to hear that. I hope the camaraderie and
good will continues to grow throughout the SEC. Be respectful, and welcoming. Enjoy and love the game.

Nice!

Glad you had fun. Just remember to return the hospitality when we come to town next year. You don't have to give away tickets, but some jambalaya might hit the spot!

That's awesome, glad you enjoyed the trip. Now go to the Rant and dispell all the rumors about Gators being mean, ugly, aggressive, threatening, etc towards y'all

Last game I went to, had an older Gator alum give me his ticket as well.....maybe it was the same guy
