SEC Offensive Player of the Week: Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M)

SEC Defensive Players of the Week: Sanders Commings (Georgia) and Denzel Nkemdiche (Ole Miss)

SEC Special Teams Players of the Week: Cristion Jones (Alabama) and Marcus Murphy (Missouri)

SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week: Jake Matthews (Texas A&M)

SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week: Jadeveon Clowney (South Carolina)

SEC Freshmen of the Week: Todd Gurley (Georgia), Keith Marshall (Georgia), Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M)

Nice to have one of our defensive players get POW after their dismal performance. Keith Marshall getting some respect and is this Gurley's 4th POW?

Interesting that the lesser Nkemdiche received SEC player of the week honors.

The stats alone are ridiculous, but Manziel looks better than 95% of the QBs out there regardless of experience. the fact that he's a FR starting his 6th game makes his performance all the more impressive.

imo he earned these honors for sure
