I know Arkansas is struggling, but 13 points is crazy. They have a very talented team, and they will be in wounded animal mode.

I was going to ask, "are you an idiot"

but, then I saw the aggie logo.

If we only lose by 13, I will accept it as a moral victory.

No. No they don't. They need a superstar QB with a brilliant playcaller to make it close. They lost their coach. It is over.

Why would the odds makers give any less of a line. Arkansas has now lost three games at home and will be going on the road.

IMO, that is exactly what the line should be.

Well, maybe I'm wrong. You guys should go put down a grand on A&M make some money. I wouldn't touch this game.

Colorado 2000 -- CU came into the game 0-4, Ags were ranked.

Baylor 2004 -- Had not beat us in 20 years and had 3 wins in 2004. Ags were ranked and had Gameday coming in the following week against OU.

Colorado 2009 -- Huge losing streak and no offense and we giftwrap turnover after turnover. We were just turning the corner and headed for stability and then a sledgehammer to the nuts in the mountains.

I'll just leave those games here for you Aggies who want to talk shite.

Look, I love to talk shite, but 27 years of Aggie Football has taught me one thing.... we tend to shite all over ourselves when we need a win the most. This Saturday is one of those games. Always fear a wounded, caged animal, especially if you are an Aggie fan.

I don't have the stats in front of me but it seems like the hawgs have given up close to 500 yds of offense in the last 3 games? There is no one in the SEC who will win games with that type of defense. The big plays that the hawgs scored on were great but they forced the defense back on the field after little rest & Rutgers just kept driving back down the field.

I think so too.

Wilson came back too early it takes more than 2 weeks to recover from a concussion. Look for Arky if nothing else Wilson to be better this weekend and get better every Saturday going forward.

That being said I wouldn't bet the farm on my prediction but I would take the 13 and Arky this weekend. Look for that spread to drop IMO before Saturday.

The hysterical problem I see with Arky isn't the offense. It's the 4-4 Monster look on Defense. Want to guess the last team who ran that regularly?

1998 Penn State.

Arky puts slow white linebackers on slot receivers with the idea that they will sell out to stop the run and make you beat them through the air. Well, Nova, Rutgers shitty QB, tossed a nickel piece on Arky's defense because their shitty Freshman CB can't hang one on one and their LBs are slower than molasses.

A&M *should* exploit #35 and that CB this week, but I'm not going to hold my breath. We are known to Aggy it up in games like this.

This ... I don't understand why A&M fans seem to think that Arkansas is some bastion of talent. They have had a great mastermind of a coach who can recruit players who are mediocre but succeed in his system. They aren't world beaters

We haven't run a 4-4 all season.

That's one of our starting SAFETIES. It'd be less embarrassing if he was a LB, though.

Game plan to beat Arkansas that ULM and Rutgers both figured out within the first few minutes? Figure out who Rasner is guarding (slow white safety) and throw to him. Guaranteed 10-99 yard result.

Sure, other guys can be picked on too (such as the freshman CB), but it all starts with Rasner. It's not his fault he's a starter, but he sucks.

If A&M is smart, they won't even attempt to run the ball 1 time. That appears to be our only decent aspect on defense. We aren't completely outmanned against the run.

Well that would explain why the 4-4 Stack look shows up. LOL. He plays so fricking close to the line in run support.

The guy is baaaad slow.

Yep. They basically have him blitzing (which he's not effective at - don't think he's gotten a QB hurry all season despite multiple blitzes each game), or they have him guarding a slot receiver. We run man defense 99% of the time. Pretty easy to decipher how to beat our defense.
