Did TD buy The dawgrant?

I was getting. An "error 404" eairler tonight, and now when I go to the website it redirects me here.

This is the new TD UGA board, I checked it out yesterday. Something weird is going on. This isn't the Dawgramt we have all known. Did Josh sell it?

Hugo, we didn't start Dawg Rant. SBJ and others started it, and asked us if he could host it on our software years ago. We have never had ownership interest in DR...not in past and not now.
Last year, we decided that we needed to upgrade servers. And we also decided that we didn't want to host external sites anymore (for various reasons).
We told SBJ this, and he started exploring his options. We moved TD and SEC Rant to new servers months ago. But we didn't want to move DR because it had really old software which would have required us to upgrade before moving to new servers. Plus, we were under the assumption that SBJ had found a new home for DR.
So, we told our host company to pull the plug on our old server (that only hosted DR now), assuming that a plan was in place to get DR a new home.
Well, I guess things didn't fall into place for SBJ, so he was left redirecting to SR at last minute. Unfortunately, it takes 2-3 days to re-route domains to new servers due to the info having to be propagated to all the routers around the world.
So, some people will get errors until the update is complete.

i think he is obviously super busy IRL...it was evident by the lack of time he was putting into the site...i am happy DR has a new home but some of the guys may not come over...and that sucks..

I may have read chickens post wrong but it sounds like it SHOULD be fixed in a few days. I could be wrong but that's what I gathered

It sounds like it should be corrected in a few day, but then again, I have been waiting for a year to be able to post on dawgrant.

SBJ did NOT start the Dawgrant. It started on the Access Atlanta forums years ago and became a "collective" board until NYDawg sold it to SBJ who made a number of changes for it to go mainstream.

yeah this is not how i expected my morning routine to go...i always cruise through the rant while i eat breakfast at work and this morning im redirected here...can we get an answer as to whether Dawgrant is dead or just down until a server swap or is this it or what?
