Read it again. Let it sink in. You have averaged .500 over the last 20 years. You have never been elite. Your fanbase is the most delusional in the conference.

Razorback fans really need to understand this so they don't continue to make asses of themselves here and elsewhere about mistaking themselves for a contender. I'm doing this as a service to make you feel better about your present predicament.

Its funny that Arky fans have never claimed us to be elite all time...Yet on this board, its like a SOP for other fan bases to make this claim.
We were actually elite in the 60's.

It's funny how LSU fans act like they have been dominate for over a century. Before Saban fell in your lap you were just like Arkansas, a team with potential to be something more. It takes the right coach at the right time to elevate a program to the next level. Arkansas proved they were moving in the right direction with Petrino. Hopefully someone can come in and build on what Petrino started like Chris Peterson did after Dan Hawkins or Miles after Saban.

bullshite. In 1980 LSU was 7 ALLTIME in wins. That's 20 year before Saban stepped foot on our campus. LSU has always been ahead of Ark. Period

No, the line of crap you're peddling is bullshite. LSU was 15th in all-time wins in 1980. Just ask College Football data warehouse. I just looked it up.

Actually, they were 20th in 1980...not 15th. The five schools you took out because they are no longer D1 WERE D1 in 1980. Some (like Yale) were pretty good right up until the Ivy League schools took their ball and went to D1-AA.
