I just booked my Thursday to Sunday flight from LAX to XNA non-stop round trip $350 for the Alabama game two weeks away. Some trips booked early enough are $75 each way. Some fans might be lucky like myself get a cheap door to door flight.

There are Allegiant Air destinations in Arkansas, Missouri,Illinios, Tennessee, Kentucky and South Carolina.

These airports are easily accessible, yet some require a short drive, for Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and South Carolina.

I just wanted to help out some SEC fans who want an alternative way to attend road games especially from out-of-state.

Not having any of these in AL is the definition of dumb. Do you know what Bama/AU fans would pay to travel like this on the wknds?

Also be aware that you'll be nickel and dimed on this airline as well. It makes Southwest look like 1st class on Emirates.

The ridership in the three football months would be higher than Amtrak's for the entire year.

I really hope you are being sarcastic, because it's a completely inaccurate statement. It would be nice to rail up the South though.

Un-click the default boxes and carry on a bag for the weekend and it's a great price. It is an option many people aren't aware of and if done correctly, cheap on the wallet.

You get a discount for Debit cards over Credit cards. These are worth booking one way, a short drive, then fly out Southwest or American if needed.

If it is anything like Europe there's a dining/bar car with booze. Get couchette on Sunday to sleep off the hangover. The drive back for me on Sunday is dreadful and always want to knock out a huge nap about 2 hours into my drive.

Direct into:
Arkansas
Kentucky
Tennessee

Short drive to:
(2 hours or less) 135 miles at 75mph = 1.8 hours.
Georgia
Missouri
South Carolina
Vanderbilt

That is 7 SEC towns.

Called non-stop my friend. I'm over connecting in Houston or Dallas for every single flight into Arkansas.

call me crazy, but the thought of a discount flight does not excite me.

Anything direct from my door in California to Arkansas' campus excites me. It's the same for fans living in Florida with a direct shot to Lexington or Knoxville.
