Actually, the parking map was pretty useful. Thanks. Unless this is a set up and I end up accosted by a dude with a crew cut and knee-high boots trying to make me yell at shite. That would be not as useful.

Damn, Ags, that's a pretty good visitor's site. Just because it came from TexAgs doesnt mean it is stupid like their free football board.

Texags is the largest college team website on the internet. It has positives and negatives. It has some great raw information available there and it is officially connected to the 12th Man Foundation so they have content no one else has. It has some really good non football forums. The premium forums are also decent to great. The problem is the "A&M Football" forum is populated by all non subscribers and hard to stomach. Essentially all the good posters are gone to the premium side.

It's the biggest collection of Ags on the Internet. It's easily the best place to go if you're looking to find A&M discussion

FIFY. The site was great until about 2005-2006. Ever notice that they don't even link to the Eagle (the COLLEGE STATION NEWSPAPER) because it supports a competitor?

I don't mind having A&M in the SEC, but I didn't anticipate having to hear so much about the longhorns. I couldn't care less about the Castrated Bull University That Pretends It's Michigan

What exactly in this thread referencecd the longhorns besides your post? The fact is, the majority of the time they have been brought up by fans of other SEC teams, not ours.

Texags is the largest college team site on the Net, it's just an objective fact. The traffic they have is insane. They have a significant sized staff of analysts that include former players from different sports and journalists including a Heisman voter in Olin Buchanan. They have a ridiculous amount of subscribers, especially for an independent site not affiliated with Rivals or 247.
I only bring that up because some posters here try to act like it is just a half assed site with moderators that are bullies. The reason they don't like it is they don't allow cursing, nude pics, personal attacks, and any attacks on players. They moderate it heavily and have no fear of banning people. It takes some real effort to get the perma ban though. Also, several years ago folks started moving to the premium content boards (they actually have 2 levels) and the better posters moved to those boards and thus the quality of discussion on the free board went downhill, subscribers just call it "The Zoo". Also Texags has a verification system for people that actually went to A&M that get an "Ag" tag and they verify 12th Man members who also get a tag. Thus if you aren't an Ag or a 12th Man donor or a premium subscriber folks don't tend to care much about what you have to say. For those who are serious supporters of A&M though it's fantastic because so much of the crap is filtered out. The Non Football boards are also heavily trafficked and excellent.
BTW, I don't hate anyone that is an Aggie and doesn't subscribe to Texags. I just don't know why some of those folks decide to hate Texags or people that do subscribe to it. You don't see a lot of Texagers here talking down all the other Aggie sites and most of them are a joke content wise.
