It has been posted on here, mainly by the tide nation, that if your DBs are some of the leading tacklers then your Dline and LBs in particular aren't good or they are not doing their job.

Something like that never happens on the capstone.

'09, Baron was the #2 tackler and three of top six on the team were DBs. Six of top 10 were DBs.

'10, Barron was #1 in tackles and three of top five were DBs. Five of top 10 in tackles were from the secondary.

'11, Barron was #2 and three of top six were DBs. Five of top 10 were DBs.

It happens everywhere.

A safety will always be in the top two for a Saban coached Bama team. Don't think that is a big secret.

I expect Sunseri will be top two this year.

I don't think this is very true nowadays.

That's what happens when your safety plays in the box as a LB pretty much.

Mostly it has been Spurs, safeties, and LBs that have led our tackling....Gilmore led us in tackles in 2010, but that's about it as far as CBs for us...

You know you don't have to start a new thread everytime you want to counter an arguement. Most people would've just included that post in the same thread with the actual arguement that you are responding to.
