In football?

Granted the series hasnt been played much, its been almost 10 years since UF has had a victory over Auburn with the last win coming with Ron Zook and the touchdown pass from Rex Grossman in 2002.

Urban had no luck against AU going 0-2.
Muschamp 0-1

I honestly haven't heard anything close. Couldn't even hear myself yelling, much less anyone around me

Florida's record against West teams is a mystery. I mean, they split the series with Mississippi schools for christ's sake.

Bama and AU got to duck UF in the 90's and 2000's by rarely playing them. UGA and UT weren't so fortunate.

if AU plays UF every year it'll be murderous.

Except that from 1927 to 2002, we played them every single year, except during WWII

And we're Florida's oldest SEC rival.

and by duck for the 90's and 2000's you really just mean 2003-2005 and 2008-2010?

But we got em twice in 2000...that's gotta count for something.

Actually I think we played Auburn every year in the 90's.

Agreed.

Let's add Florida State to the SEC East and make them LSU's permanent East opponent. Then Auburn can have Florida.

Of course, we'd have to have 2 perm opponents in order for it to work because Auburn HAS to play Georgia. And FSU doesn't fit into the almighty footprint manifest destiny model. But Tallahassee is much closer to Baton Rouge than Gainesville and LSU used to have some spirited contests with FSU back in the day. It would be a great Gulf Coast rivalry.

I'm mean... while we're all dreaming...

P.S. We'll call it the "Rainbows and Unicorns" Bowl.

We started playing UGA in 1915.
