Yeah Spurrier said they would be doing this almost immediately after the game. Indeed no one should be rewarded for accomplishing a 1st at a school that has played 100+ years of mediocre (at best) football.
eta: to make sure the sarcasm gets through.

If this thread doesn't get whacked, I'll have a case against the admins of this site FWIW

All teams get Bowl Rings...I am sure they emphasized the 11 win on them.

Unashamed, Spurrier's name now resides on the walks of 2 SEC schools.

Not as bad as FSU making "state championship" rings in 2010.

Probably close to where they painted "2010 Division Champions." I'm not joking either.

Yeah the ramp walls are lined with all record holders. Thats the coaches corner. Next to that one is coaching career wins.

In other corners WRs/QBs are together, RBs have their own section (which is pretty much the G.Rogers section soon to be the G.Rogers and M.Lattimore section) and then a defensive corner. Each corner also has a sign at the top (you can see the bottom of it there in that picture) I think 3 are of player's whos # is retired and that corner is Joe Morrison's national coach of the year I think.

I don't think you understand what Williams-Brice Stadium looked like pre-Spurrier. Before outside of a couple of logos it was just a giant cement structure and you could hardly tell that it was ours. Its about instilling some pride into a program and it has been Gamecockified all over the place.

Here is what a whole corner looks like. Though some of those Sidney Rice records have since been replaced by Alshon Jeffery.

Actually they're on opposite ends.
