Secondary coach and recruiting coordinator.

This hire by Dooley will be tell us a lot about what the coaching profession thinks about his stability at UT.

I guess you can blame Tampa bay.
Tampa bay hired Cooper
We hired Raymond from Nebraska
They in turn hired Joseph from you
Now go frick over someone else this close to spring practice!

I'm happy this guy is gone!
He was a TERRIBLE position coach, can't believe we had an assistant that had never played the game.

I have to agree. His on the field coaching wasn't very good. And he lost out on the big guys he was the lead recruiter for.. Jacobs, Autry, Peters..

Promote Derrick Ansley? Is he still co-Secondary coach?
I wonder how that will work out, let Ansley go for a vet coach or hire a young guy that will accept a co- position?

Ansley is the Safeties coach, Joseph had his duties reduced to just CBs and recruiting coord.
I look at his leaving as a positive for us, I can't stress enough how terrible he was as a position coach.

I would expect another secondary coach. The recruiting coordinator title will make it a little more appealing though.

He was the only guy on the defensive staff that has never worked with Sunseri before. Sunseri is bringing in his guys on defense. Rumor is that Sunseri may have encouraged Dooley not to fight to keep Joseph so he can bring in another guy of his. UT will either hire another safeties coach or lb coach.

Pretty minimal loss. Pretty much anyone would be an improvement.

so far this off-season, we've had (on top of my head)
DC turnover
DL coach turnover
LB coach turnover
WR coach turnover
OL coach turnover
DB coach turnover
recruiting coordinator turnover
and I think one more position coach I'm forgetting.

UT fans seem so optimistic about next year and the Bray/Hunter/Rogers/Patterson 4some but all these coaches jumping ship seems to indicate that the people who know this team best do not see a good season.

We steal their coach, they steal your coach. Tennessee seems to be getting lower and lower on the totem pole

I'm optimistic about the passing game. I'm not much optimistic about much else.

I'd be surprised if Tennessee actually put up much of a fight for Joseph.
