aTm comes aboard for the 2012 football season, and as of right now there is a ton of speculation about a 14th team, but nothing solid.

Rumors the other week was that the Aggies would come in as #13 and then #14 would be found in time for the 2013 season. If that were to happen, how would schedules be done for the 2012 season? Everyone in the west play 9 conference games and the east only plays 8?

willing to bet we drop our game with Texas because of this.

I also wonder what SEC expansion (especially to 14) does to the CFA kick off games for 2012. As it stands Auburn plays Clemson and Tenn plays NC State in the other.

I can't see the SEC wanting to lose two high profiles games on opening weekend.

I'm praying we don't. I keep worrying about that. I've had that weekend planned out for quite some time.

Austin is a blast. Tex fans are cocky but not too over the top.

Why would it change those games? The bigger issue is why UT and NC St are playing in that game. Far and away the lamest ChikfilA game yet.

The game is suppose to be in Oxford. Then in 2013 in Austin, which is another trip I want to take.

They broke the flags off our car last time we played there. That's just shitty IMO

Who is saying anything about that? It's not like the West will play 9 games and the East 8.

I haven't really kept up with the whole move at all. What's going to happen to the sec championship game?

Probably won't have one for one year. Wouldn't that suck?

Guess it's not so bad after all that MSU had one of our cupcake games bail on us for next year. No need to buyout a game to make room for the tamus.

That would be absolutely awful for college football.

how will the schedule work with a&m then?

fwiw A&M should be forced to play every team next year. they get no ooc games and play every game on the road
