The only game that I really want to go to this coming season is the Auburn - Clemson game and the cheapest ticket around right now is $175. You can get cheaper tickets for Clemson -FSU or USCe but for some reason tickets for the Auburn game are really high for a game that has little meaning.

Anyone else looking at some ridiculously priced tickets?

MSU is charging us $70 to come to DWS this year.

I wouldn't pay $7 to go there...

I don't get that at all. Auburn is losing everyone that made them worth a crap.

When we played in Stillwater in 09 OSU sold our AD tickets with a $100 FACE pricetag. From talking to OSU fans, they have 1 home game a year that is considered a "premium" game that they raise the hell out of the price for the opposing team. It's typically for teams like Oklahoma or Texas, but that year it happened to be us. I've never seen a regular season game with a face value in triple digits.

Keep telling youself that...The Auburn people will support our team, that is why the price is high... we have not played Clemson AT Clemson in a very long time and who knows when we will get the opportunity again...

Clemson is one of the places that I really want to see a game and will end up going if I can get anyone else on board with me to ride up there. Not sure what the draw is but I have always wanted to go check out the Clemson campus and stadium.

The only games in the SEC I haven't been to is Kentucky, Arkansas and Vandy and only Arkansas has any draw to me at all and that is little. Arkansas is about 9ish hours? That is a long trip to check out a game at a place that I really don't want to see.

Well considering it was modeled after Auburn and on a lake, I can see how some would say that.

I don't know if this is true, but I'll go ahead and claim it anyway that Lewis Grizzard is the man who came up with that saying.

I have always heard that but never found a good article stating it. I have just always heard that Clemson is a beautiful campus.

Maybe you won't have put an ad in the Birmingham News to advertise season tickets being available (in October) this year...

Lewis Grizzard also had another good one...

What do Joe Namath and William Andrews have in common?

Neither of them went to school at Auburn.

funny you mention that. I had heard that phrase before but never knew it's origin. Me and my roommates have recently gotten into listening to old albums on a vintage record player. One of the records we have is that LG standup and he said it on there. Lewis was awesome.

That's definitely one of the away games I'll be making this year, along with UGA. Hell, it's a shorter drive to both of those places than it is for me to go to a home game.
