Why this board?

Several of the SEC schools have posting boards similar to this, with diversified schools represented. But this one is far more popular and diversified than the others. Why is that?

Because cursing is allowed and for the most part the lunatic fringe that post on team sites have not migrated over.

Examples of other boards? Because the rivalry boards I have seen all have mods who don't let people post what they want. They let their feelings get in the way and delete/modify posts.

Generally a better class of poster.
For example, most of the AU fans here aren't rabid ITATers. (with the exception of Irons Puppet, MattP and a few others)

Better mods + As the Plains Burn = Unstoppable amount of people. In all honesty, it's probably just a bunch of different reasons, I like these boards cause you can truly speak your mind and it's allowed!

I can't read Auburn boards. I don't think sane people read their school's boards. I got banned from ITAT years ago when I tried to explain that Tuberville was a shitty coach that lucked into the best backfield Auburn had seen in 20 years.

There is not as much "Homerism" here.I'm refering to all the SEC fans that post here.Most people that post here have been around message boards for a while and know how to act.
