I like the UGA fans who claim that LSU is a team that doesn't care about the character of the guy we recruit.
Doesn't Richt avg close to 9 or 10 arrests an offseason?

I've always thought that UGA and Athens in general felt as though it was "above" the rest of the SEC.
I have no ill-will towards the school at all and actually root for them most of the time. I just have a hard time pulling for them because of their fanbase.
In my opinion, they are the most underacheiving school in the SEC. They have no reason not to be dominate in all three of the major sports.
And don't let them fool you. They have had plenty of issues outside of players getting arrested.

Tell me how many other schools in the SEC would kick off a 4* player for his first offense? My guess would be 0.

I like it, I just wish we didn't have to play LSU with him still there. Mett had major attitude problems when he got here but seemed to do a 180 during his time. I never had any ill will for the guy and I'm glad he's going to a big time school where he can help out. As much as it stinks, he probably wouldn't have played here much unless Murray got hurt, so this is a great thing for him.

Not sure it seems UGA is the only ones that have problems with DUI in the offseason.

From what I understand, Michael Adams was behind him and Mettenberger being dismissed. LINK The # of arrests and issues has forced UGA to dismiss players that they might not would have otherwise. Also, how do you know that was his first offense?
Regardless, I believe Miles would do it. Difference is, LSU hasn't had to deal with those issues because seldom have they come up.
