I'm interested in potential coaching changed around the SEC. Obviously, as changes occur around the country it will effect the league. Who are some other programs?

Potential Opennings Outside SEC:
Michigan
Arizona St.

Living here in the Phoenix area, it HIGHLY unlikely Dennis Erickson is let go at ASU, they just don't have the $$$ to pay off old staff, & hire a new staff.

Potential coaching changes (SEC)

Florida- Urban Meyer (retirement for health reasons)
Auburn- Gene Chizik (Pulls a Fran/Cheat Carroll and bolts town after sanctions are handed out)

Potential Coaching Changes Outside SEC:

North Carolina- Butch Davis (fired for agent-gate, John Blake debacle)
Miami- Randy Shannon
West Virginia- Bill Stewart
Michigan- Rich Rod
Illinois- Ron Zook
Washington State- Paul Wulff
UCLA- Rick Neuheisel
Arizona State- Dennis Erickson

Dammit why won't people get it through their skulls? MARK RICHT WILL BE THE COACH NEXT YEAR. Period. End of Story.

Wulff should be gone at Wazzu, but probably keeps his job by looking competitive for the first time in ages.

North Carolina may come up, depending on how they decide to handle Butch Davis as the NCAA destroys their progress to date. Indiana may axe Bill Lynch, who has taken the program that Hoepper built into an annual bowl contender to 11 wins over 3 seasons.

I am inclined to agree with this.

Heard Minnesota could be interested. But I doubt that they are big enough to lure Mullen away from State or the SEC in general.

Meyer isn't going anywhere at this season's end. I would be willing to put a healthy wager on it, would you?

Florida could possibly demote Addazio and bring in someone else. Meyer stated things will be evaluated with the assistant coaching staff at seasons end.

IF Miles goes to Michigan, it won't be because Michigan is a better job than LSU, but despite it.

Miles is a Michigan Man, first and foremost. The question is, how much of an obligation does he feel toward his alma mater?

The LSU job is his now. The specter of Saban has been dispelled. His critics have been largely silenced with each win.

He's winning with his players, and he has the beginnings of another monster recruiting class.

Would he leave all that, to basically start over at a place as devoid of defensive talent as the Wolverines are now, and with offensive players who fit into an offense not of his liking?

That's the multi-million dollar question.

Yeah...I don't see Miles leaving LSU until he is forced out.
