I am sure we have all seen the preseason SEC quarterback rankings, but my question is about to date.

Who do you guys think is honestly the best passing quarterback in the SEC so far this year?

It would have to be down to Newton and Mallett correct, but is anyone else even in the argument or even close to those two in the passing category? I would give the overall to Newton but not sure who I would go with for passing.

Mallet for passing. If we want yet another "rank the QB's" thread, it'd be
1. Newton
2. Mallet
Tie-3. Garcia
Tie-3. Murray
5 (4). Hartline
and then everyone else

Mallett is a much better passer than Newton.

Newton is many things, a comparable passer to Mallett is not one of them.

Hartline is way up there, 3rd-4th IMO...
