I'm a Werner hater.. But he didn't really hurt us today... Played solid min... However I will not miss him one bit... We r a solid point guard away from being a very solid team next year... Knight come on down

If he's not good enough to start then shouldnt you be pissed at your coach for giving him PT in the first place?

Dan Werner got too much blame for a team game. The kid did everything that was asked of him and never got into any type of trouble, yet idiot fans can only bash him. If you don't have anything nice to say, just shut the F up. Grow up dude..

noob gator fan defending werner...
look if they made awards for tipped balls/deflections/gritty plays...werner would be at the top of the list...but the fact of the matter is...he really limited us offensively and his lack of confidence really turned his game south...its not too often you see a guy regress over the course of 4 years, but that is the case with werner...whether he is the worst in gator history is irrelevant...he is not an SEC caliber basketball player...he would thrive in a smaller conference where he could contribute...i thank him for his loyalty to the gator nation...but I will not be sad to see him go from a production stand point
