...I think he has buried the Bear for good. If he wins this NC it will be a new era in Alabama football. The new generation will have their coach and it will be Nick Saban.

The Bear is dead!!

Sorry I meant to put this on the SEC board.

If LSU has to kick it's starting qb off the team along with 3 or 4 more o-linemen, bama will win again next year. Otherwise, Bama fans will come back down to earth.

24-0 is something. Add in an SEC title and almost sure NC after them being 6-6 a few years ago and it's nothing short of amazing.
Any LSU fan who rags on Bama fans for being in love with Saban needs to look in the mirror. I can only imagine if Leslie were somehow able to pull off 2 undefeated regular seasons.

Once Saban wins the title, he will get bored and move on-always has

That would take one hell of an imagination, i feel pretty safe in predicting that will NEVER happen for him while he is coaching in the SEC

I know that you hope that happens but I don't think he will. I think he is a gump.

Finebaum was talking to Mrs. Saban after the SEC CG and he said this is no big deal for y'all as you have experienced this before and her reply was, We have never experienced anything like this before.

Alabama is a magical place. When you are winning there is not a better place in the world to coach.

I was at the SECCG luncheon at the Hyatt in Atlanta last Friday.

There was more houndstooth around than you could shake a stick at.

Saban will ALWAYS be in Bear's shadow.

I would pee on Bear Bryant's statue if Saban commanded it. I think most would.

saban is good but he has a long way to go before being P"B"B. Now you need to wash your frickin mouth out for committing such sacrilege. if i was a gump i would challenge you for slandering bear's name.

His record is pretty close to Gene Stallings. That didn't stop the Bear love fest that is still going on.
