Recently my son had a conversation with an SEC official. Guy had some great stories.
He said the best & loudest place to call a game is @ night in Tiger Stadium.
Also he told the story of he & crew were eating lunch in BR about 3:00pm on game day. The crew was all sitting at the same table. He looked up & they were the only folks not wearing purple & gold. Patrons of the restaurant noticed the same thing & they starting "Tiger baiting" the crew.
The crew chief said we have a couple of options:
1)not say a word & finish quickly
2) let the fans & manager know who they were & they could eat & drink for free
Unfortunately they chose #1.
PS: The crew thought it was fun & really enjoyed the irony of it.

Right since I was there and actually led the tigahbaiting of said referees.

Doesn't matter if they were officials. Just because people don't wear the school colors doesn't mean it's OK for them to be harassed while they are minding their business and trying to eat a meal.
The act was pathetic and low class.

As much as I hate people tiger baiting me, I still love the act itself. My biggest problem is when I yell something back dont come put your arm around me and say "come on now, show some class." Its all in fun!

Were they mumbling "Tigah bait" as they walked by with a smile or were they standing on their tables pointing their fingers and screaming it at the top of their lungs?
