I was quit shocked at the lack of quite in this team's heart tonight. I'm still skeptical that it might not quit be enough to beat Auburn this week, though!

You appear to be new to the Rant so I would provide you some friendly advice.
1. Everything is highs and lows around here. Not just Rebel fans. After Bama lost some of their fans completely turned on the team and went crazy talking about how much they hate the team and how weak they are. it is life on the message boards.
2. Some of these guys like to always give doom and gloom predictions about everything. Once again, it is life here so don't take it seriously.
3. People here are assholes. Its the internet. It turns many people into assclowns. Don't take the bait. Sometimes it is what passes for humor. It can also be the mean girls who hang out here for years who enjoy attacking new posters. Not everybody does it but it is what it is and arguing with someone on the internet never goes anywhere.

The team is going to let this performance go to their heads and they'll get complacent. Wait & see, next week at JHS will be the first of many arse whoopings to close out the season.

I know your right and I know that I started a losing battle. Just always surprised how quickly people will give up on their team. Guess it's easier to give up but thank goodness our team that they didn't believe in had more resolve. Also atleast they moved on from just being able to make dick references as insults.
