Four years is maybe a little much in my scenario, but you are severely undervaluing the NCAAT appearance at Ole Miss considering we've been SEVEN times. Not only did they reach the tournament, but they got a WIN in the tournament.
I'm curious to know your expectations for the program.

Like I said, the one year extension was acceptable and a two year would have been acceptable if it were possible.
A one year extension after a season where he missed the post-season entirely in a shitty SEC is stupid.

So what are your expectations for Kennedy in order for him to get an extension? I think this one year extension more than anything is a vote of confidence based on his prior success.
I know some of you would be happy if he left for another job, but what do you really think will come out of that at this point? Maybe if we fast forward a few years from now and have better standing facilities wise and support wise, we could come out better. For now, I'd rather ride it out with Kennedy.

I think a one year extension shows acceptance of mediocrity after a season like that.
I think next year looks good, but until Kennedy follows through on the promise of next year, why the extension? A two year extension after he delivers next year would be just as easy.

This. If he wants to leave he can do that whenever he wants and a contract isn't going to deter that but now if he tanks the next two years we are stuck with either sucking or buying him out.
I just don't see a pro in extending him at this point and time.
