I like Pennamon's size but it's all in the lower body. He looks like he totally skips upper body days where as I prefer to skip lower body day. And he's definitely one of those straight ahead guys I've talked about.

Run heavy offense? I member we had a RB named Deuce a while back.

And we were sooooo much more successful than we were with Freeze's "gimicky" passing offense.

Am I taking crazy pills? If Ole Miss tried to dominate the run game we would get assraped by Bama and LSU EVERY year. We won't have the horses for it.

Okay, so I know this is reaching, but Cal played USCw pretty tough today. The score does not indicate how close the game was. I'm not much for the transitive theory, but I am starting to come around to that our defense had a decent performance against Cal. I think we're going to get dismantled by Alabama, but I think 6 wins is doable if this team can pull it together primarily the offensive line.

Yep, the Cal quarterback got very greedy. Had he stayed within himself and what was there that game would have gone down to the wire. So either Cal is better than we thought or USC isn't quite as good as billed. Still very worried about us, though.

Agree, our offense gave up 14 points to Cal on the 2 interceptions.

I watched some of that game and Cal looked pretty good on defense. USC scored some points, but almost all of their scoring drives were short (Cal had a bunch of turnovers).

And their pass rush gave USC problems. Like us, they didn't seem to know where the pressure was coming from. Just shows you what a good scheme can do.
