Spring ball starts Monday. What’s everyone looking forward to? Any new comers people are excited about besides obviously the D line? I’m not worried about wide receiver but we do need some people to step up there. I’m really interested in what Qua Davis will look like. Anyone heard how the Juco D lineman have looked in the weight room?

If the defense is even serviceable, we should win 8+ if the offense doesn't miss a beat.

Then again, WAOM. I could see our defense improving dramatically and our offense being very inconsistent, costing us a few games.

Kinda what I am thinking Moore is going to be really really hard to replace. We will go off and go ice cold.

I will interested in seeing

1) Who will step up and take the targets that Moore & Yeboah had last year? Will Mingo finally break out? Who will be the slot (I want Plumlee to rock out)? Will one TE step up or will it be a platoon position?
2) Who will replace Newman on the OL? Does James kick out from guard or will he stay put and Melton steps up like it has been hinted at?
3) Will the DL finally shed blocks and fill gaps so LBers and flow to the ball? With KD & Tisdale returning and the addition of Iton & Gordon along with Malone this summer, we should finally have a serviceable DL.
4) How much improvement will we see from the DBs with Reese starting full time and Prince returning from JUCO (he was our best DB as a freshman before enrolling in JUCO)? Also with the plethora of DBs we signed and enrolled early will any of them step-up?

Im anxious to see what Iton and Gordon look like physically. Interested to see if Demon Clowney has bulked up any. Cant wait to see Reese running around on the second level. I wonder if JRP is gonna get reps in the slot

Anyone know if Wolfe is enrolled yet? Him Tywone and Brown are going to see the field next year and an off season would be big for all of them. I know Tywone isn’t enrolled yet.

Wolfe is already enrolled and supposedly his back is healed up enough that he can practice.

I'm not worried about kicker. I just want to see the defense look like they can defend the field. The last time the kicker mattered was Eli's last game against LSU. We had the Lou Groza award winner. That didn't go well.

So, by saying that let's hope the LSU game is for the SEC west. I would take that season in a heartbeat.

Even if it meant we lose because of a field goal kicker that can't kick.

Nichols won the Vandy game with 2 50+ yard field goals, and both the Arkansas and Florida games. The LSU game wasn't totally on him either. He's just an easy scape goat

I just wanna win .

Very winnable Louisville to start off and have all the eyeballs on us that Monday night of Labor Day

We get auburn and Tennessee with new coaches .

Rack up some wins and maybe pop the tide in the mouth .

Just keep moving forward as a program. Goal should be 8-4 next year with a great (top 10) recruiting class.

With our schedule, I will be extremely letdown with 8-4. There is a path with other teams being down/breaking in coaches .. we have to strike while the iron is hot .

8-4 would be we win the games we are likely to be favored in, and lose the games we will likely be an underdog in.

In reality, we probably pull one upset (LSU or Auburn) and drop a dumb game to Mississippi State or Arkansas like we always do.

Im excited to see Springer, the transfer from Navy. I think having him and Reese on that defense will be huge

I completely forgot about Spinger until he he was mentioned in a press conference. Seems like people are pretty high on him. How many years does he have to play (1 or 2)?

Yeah 8-4 would be a most likely a very average/expected season.

W:
Louisville
Austin Peay
Tulane
Arky
Tenn
Liberty
Vandy
State

L:
Bama
LSU
Auburn
A&M

But like you said we prolly drop one we shouldnt and win one we "shouldnt". Going 9-3 with a bowl win to reach 10 wins would be amazing. And show we are serious under Kiffin and recruiting should explode.

Beautiful schedule for a potential springboard forward for the program. hopefully we dont waste it.

I know this is greedy, but in addition to everybody in that first group, it will also be an ideal time to get both LSU and Auburn.

I wouldn't count Arkansas or State as auto wins. Liberty worries the shite out of me. So I don't know if I would count that as guaranteed either.
