After we finish with a top 5 class when Jaurez, Gary, Simmons, Anderson and Craig-Myers commit.

If those guys all commit we have the #1 class in every service and what will probably be touted as the greatest recruiting class in the history of college football.

I'm not sure "in the clear" is the appropriate phrase. There's been some smoke. And I think we've dodged some bullets.

Obviously there are problems with the women's basketball program. My guess has always been that the NCAA has been looking hard to find a pattern of infractions that would result in LOIC.

But it's just not there. Deals on cars, and $100 handshakes just seem to be part of the landscape. Apparently, what they're finding with us does not add up to either Miami or UNC levels.

In short, I still think we're waiting on another shoe to drop. But it's gonna be more like a warning shot than the bomb some idiots are expecting.

Umm... if they are cheating in women's basketball, they aren't doing a very good job of it.

I should have said "were problems". The NCAA has been investigating women's basketball since 2013. The violations mostly occurred from 2010-12. They have kept the file open to see if the football program demonstrated a pattern, which it hasn't. The longer they keep it open, the better. It means they haven't found anything.

3 years to investigate women's basketball.

Just ask the 225 in attendance each game. We sure didn't gain an advantage.

I honestly don't care if we were terrible at every sport other than the big 3. Why in the hell would anyone cheat on women's basketball?

If someone ever officially came to me with an accusation of cheating in women's basketball, I would be like:

It's not like we were paying recruits or anything like that, it's all stemming from academic eligibility issues like playing players when they should have been ineligible

ETA: This is for women's basketball too. But what women's basketball did was much worse. I think football already self-imposed penalties for this for football when Freeze first started

Six. 4-8 in 2010 and 2-10 in 2011. If that was our only punishment I can't imagine the melt
