No way these roads are safe and not icy by noon. No school tomorrow would be clutch though

I loved at the Enclave during that beautiful snowstorm.
We sat out in our Grove chairs drank beer and played in the snow while watching cars try to make it up and down the long hill in front of there. It was awesome to watch haha

They didn't even cancel the basketball game last time this happened

That's because he was able to tape together enough NCAA LOI's to cover the streets for safe driving.

the '11 snow was some of the most fun I've ever had
I remember a bunch of people going to that steep arse hill in front of Kincannon and sliding down it. How there weren't any broken bones, I will never know.

The one behind Deaton? I saw some idiot try to ride a bike down it. Crashed and just barely missed a tree.

Yeah. Alot of people brought "sleds" out. There were only a few times I saw anyone do something crazy. One guy took his shirt off and slid down on his stomach.

city of Oxford to have the roads adequately prepared
Truth be told, the city does a great job from my experiences. Lived here since Fall 05 - seen plenty of freezes and the CITY roads are always fine.

Snow melted and roads are clear. I had to drive to work around 8:45 this morning and they were not bad at all. Oxford did a good job. It did take me 30 min to drive to work which is normally a 5-10 min drive. Damn suburban in front of me went 10mph the whole way and made every turn I was making.

The roads are fine. I wouldn't have been able to tell there was a "winter storm" if I hadn't seen the snow this morning.

Haha I love the snow, just hoping for a day off so I don't have my test tomorrow. I think State already cancelled classes for tomorrow

Yeah, Oxford is supposed to get 1-2 inches tonight and tomorrow. Tupelo is looking closer to 2-4 inches though.

I work at the Connection
Do they pay your rent? I'm moving back in June (or sooner if I find a job). I know campus creek will pay your rent but I hated living there for two years. I didn't mind the connection so much.

Well I mean you work off your rent. Unless you are full time you don't really get any employee discount persay.... If you're thinking about June and want to work here... Actually DM me so I can give you some info
